What a consultant looks at in your account
An audit covers the first four and hands you the findings. Ongoing management works through all six, every month. Your price says which one you are buying.
Search terms and waste
The queries your ads really showed for, read line by line, with the irrelevant ones that are spending your budget listed beside what each has cost you so far.
Tracking you can trust
A check that every call, form and sale is counted exactly once, because a bid strategy fed a broken conversion signal learns to buy the wrong clicks.
Structure and match types
Campaigns and ad groups arranged so each search meets an advert and landing page written for it, and match types set so you pay for intent rather than loose guesses.
Bidding and budgets
Whether the bid strategy fits the volume of conversions you have, whether budgets are capping campaigns that earn their keep, and where the same money would work harder.
Changes made and logged
On a management plan the fixes are carried out, not only recommended, and every change goes into a log you can open, so nothing happens in your account out of sight.
A monthly read-out
Cost per lead or sale, what moved and why, and what is being tested next, written without jargon, with a screen-share whenever you would rather go through it live.

How these figures were read, and how to cite them
Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through our fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2). 8 of the 43 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 34 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 0 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere. The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in GBP (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 395 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded. Derivation as chartered: the three fee models made comparable, which no publisher does: every published UK figure normalised to a MONTHLY FEE AT A STATED AD SPEND (a flat retainer is itself; a percentage is applied to £1,000, £5,000 and £20,000; a hybrid is base plus percentage at each), giving the median and spread per model and the ad spend at which a percentage deal crosses a flat one - the arithmetic the buyer is actually trying to do; beside it the share of consultants publishing a figure at all, the minimum ad spend each will take, and the separately-quoted setup fee, which is the cost a monthly headline hides

Three steps
- Let us know your business, your monthly ad budget and whether you want an audit or someone to run the account.
- Where you can share access, we read the account itself, then send a fixed fee with a plain list of the work behind it.
- It is your call. Your campaigns stay exactly as they are until you have said yes.
The team that runs this site also does the work it quotes for. It carries no advertising, no sponsored placement and no affiliate links, and no provider in the table has paid to be there or can pay to be removed. Every figure is read from the named provider's own public page on the date shown and is what that provider advertises, not a quote for your job. Prices move; check the source before you rely on a row.
Common questions
How much does a Google Ads consultant cost in the UK?
Only 8 of the 43 UK providers we read put a management fee on their own website. Among the ones priced in pounds the median is £1,500 a month, with the middle half from £500 to £1,500. Your spend on clicks is paid to Google separately. Our fee follows a look at your account and is fixed before any work begins. (UK PPC Management Fee Index: every row, with its source)
Is a Google AdWords consultant the same as a Google Ads consultant?
Yes. Google announced on 27 June 2018 that Google AdWords was becoming Google Ads, so a consultant still described as an AdWords specialist works in the same accounts and the same platform under its current name. (Google, Introducing simpler brands and solutions for advertisers and publishers (27 June 2018))
Is Google Ads consulting different from what a PPC consultant does?
A PPC consultant is the wider term, covering any pay-per-click platform. Google Ads consulting is the Google part, and it is the whole of what this consultancy does: a one-off audit of your account or ongoing management of it.
Can you audit my account without running it?
Yes. An audit is a single piece of work: the account is gone through and you get back what is wasting money and what to change, in order of how much each fix is worth. You can then make the changes yourself or hand them over.
What happens in a Google Ads consultation?
You tell us your website, your usual monthly budget and what counts as a good result. If you already advertise, read-only access to the account lets the fee reflect what is really in there, and the fee is fixed in writing before any work begins.
What access do you need before quoting?
Your website, your usual monthly budget and what counts as a good result for you. If you already advertise, read-only access to the Google Ads account means the fee reflects what is really in there rather than an estimate.
Will anyone else see my enquiry?
No. Only we see it, because the team that owns this website is also the one doing the consultancy work. Other consultants and lead networks never receive it.
Do you take on businesses across the UK?
Yes. Everything in a Google Ads account is done through the browser, and a trader in Cornwall is looked after the same way as one in Inverness. Calls and screen-shares cover anything worth talking through.
